Bose - Dead or Alive
The
mystery behind Bose's death has always been a puzzle to be solved, probably may
not be solved ever, as this man was way ahead of the intellect of the British
agencies spying him at that time. Even today we are baffled by his death
despite all our scientific advancements. Or it may be so that the authentic
information’s are intentionally hidden for some reasons we are not aware of.
He knew
the art of eloping and he eloped many times, even when he was in a house arrest
in his own house at Kolkata. And his final escape was in lieu of his mysterious
death in a plane crash in Japan. His German wife Emily rightly said to Mr
Mathur - a family friend "Some people need to stay dead to
stay alive"
Bose
was a person of extreme clavier and his bold revolutionary mind and vision was
beyond any comparison to the leaders of that time who were following the path
of Ahimsa or Non Violence with those who were just the opposite - The
Britishers. As is presented to us, it looks like, due to Satyagraha and the
Ahimsa or the Non Violence movement Britishers fled away from India, but on the
contrary they were fed up of the rising patriotism and the fight for
independence to which even the Indian soldiers on Britishers side responded.
The call for freedom was too loud.
Infact He was the fittest person to be the
Prime Minister of Independent India but the conspiracy by the Britishers and
the leaders of that time made him an unforgettable Hero behind the curtain,
shrouded with mystery. It is very well understood if you see the slyness and
detailed lifestyle of Nehru and his actions in not supporting Bose for his own
benefit. But in Tasken, before the mysterious death of Lal Bahadur Sashtri -the 2nd prime Minister of India , it is said that Bose meet him. That proved his final escape a success
surpassing all brilliant minds of that time.
His
intense patriotism led him to Germany after 4 months of transit via Afghanistan
since his exit from house arrest in Kolkata, where he meets Hitler to take his
help of the Indian Prisoner of War to make the Indian National Congress INA.
The fight for Azadi then started in Germany did not rest till it was achieved.
I have heard about the freedom movement from my father and elders during my childhood, and how they struggled hard to come in terms with the partition of India just after Independence, as the country was bleeding due to riots and unrest between the Hindus and Muslims.
Watching this movie I realized what a pain these Britishers were upon us, and the intense patriotism and to die for the motherland by many like Subash Chandra Bose was so obvious. Few such great names and their courageous deeds are known to us, yet many who had laid their lives remains unknown. The freedom that we enjoy today is the result of their sacrifice and my head will always bow down in deep gratitude and love for their high spirit.
The movie Bose - Dead or Alive, will make you watch with intense curiosity as your blood run fast in your veins and compelling you to think what a genius and a spirited this man was that his love for his countrymen surpassed all boundaries.
This movie will inspire the younger generation of today as they are getting lost in the technological advancements and the technical gadgets not realizing the fact that it is due to the greatness of our martyrs that we enjoy our freedom of technology today.
Jai Hind.
